Slowness

I’m writing from a slow connection. About as slow as they still come in this part of the world – 56k. Yes, my parents still connect to the internet via a modem. What can I say? I can’t even watch something on YouTube.

From tonight until next Sunday we will be in Nikiti, which means I can only access the internet from an internet cafe. I don’t particularly like going there, since it’s full of loud adolescent males, so it’s unlikely I’ll go every day. If comments on this blog aren’t immediately approved or if interesting things worth mentioning are not mentioned, that is the reason. I’m not ignoring you, I’m just sitting in the shade writing a children’s book.

There will still be updates on both my blog and Verena’s, but we won’t be immediately available to respond to comments or emails.
