A short list of what I am currently actively working on. (There’s always a bunch of other projects waiting in the shadows, occasionally making grumbling noises.)
So, my current projects are:
- A novel, whose title and plot I would rather keep to myself. I’ve been working on this one for ages, and making steady progress. Due to its rather unusual structure and scope, it is not an easy book to write. It should, however, be quite easy and enjoyable to read. If you’re not one of those literary snobs who don’t believe in the imagination, that is.
- Re-making The Infinite Ocean as a flash game.
- Writing articles for Commentarium, our film and TV website.
- A experimental film, now called The Great Machine: A Nightmare. This is something of a burden by now. I should’ve finished this years ago; the most incredible things keep getting in the way. (A story worth telling in detail someday.) It will be finished, however, one way or another.
- A new game, which is about a troll and which you can be part of. Set in the Lands of Dream, but not a sequel to Desert Bridge. Will be created in September/October.
- Another film, currently in a planning state. This one is a much more organized project, and the result will be much more acccessible.
- Submitting a couple of short stories to (literary and science fiction) magazines.
- Writing a couple of screenplays. One for the film above, and a separate one for submitting to agents and film festivals.
- Helping Verena get her novel out to agents. It’s bloody excellent, so I hope someone picks it up soon.
