I found RPGcat somewhat amusing. I loved Desert Bridge. I'm sure I'd love Phenomenon 32 if I could get it to work.

I'd like to offer you some life advice, if you're willing to take it. It applies to everyone. It came to me after a long period of thought and reflection. The problem is that it is terribly easy to understand, but terribly difficult to accept.

1. There will always be people who like you and people who don't like you.
2. You cannot do anything to change the minds of these people.
3. The people who like you like you for a reason.
4. The people who don't like you are wrong.

Regarding Phenomenon 32; when I first tried playing it, there was nowhere to click on the map screen. I tried a few more times before looking at the exe file and running it as an administrator. This worked, for some reason, and I’m having no trouble at all with it. Although there was this one level where I fell into a pit of some sort and couldn’t jump out, it was the city ruins (I just checked). Also, loading doesn’t work on the start screen but it does ingame.

Most of these issues have to do with the way it handles the save files, and with Vista not letting the game create any files. The new version will solve most of these issues - the only one I'm not entirely sure about yet is the Vista problem. We'll see.

And yeah, there's a couple of places where you can get stuck. But, if nothing breaks, in the new version hitting Escape won't quite the game, but will take you back to before you started the level, so it will be less of a fuss.

The film review site sounds like a great idea. I've always liked the posts you and Verena have done about movies, even if I haven't seen them. Maybe it would inspire me to watch more movies...

Well, that's a bit coincidental (ha HA): I was told at my last dentist check-up that I have an impacted wisdom tooth (lower-right, whereas there is no WT on my left), but my visit a couple days ago was just for [replacing] a filling; it was a tooth that was cracked along the side, and by the time I realised I might wanna see where that tooth was, my tongue was already mechanically segregated to the left of my mouth... Kinda miss it...

ANYWAY, saw "depression" and am now compelled to link a humotainment article:
http://www.cracked.com/article_18400_6-human-character-flaws-that-saved-species.html
I wonder if I'm getting depressed, too, having been outta mah volunteer job for a while, but for now I'll hock it up to inactivity causing me to be groggy.
